Wow, I can’t believe 2012 is gone already, not only that, but January of 2013 is over.  January has been a tremendous month for the company, the best January ever in the 10 years history of Falafel Software Inc.

We started the year very strong with multiple new accounts in the USA, Europe, Far East and Australia.

FalafelCON2013Sitefinity continues to be a very strong business for Falafel and we continue to assemble the best Engineering team in the industry to meet the consulting and architecture demands for our Sitefinity Business.  Great announcements coming soon!

SmartBear‘s relationship continues to flourish with new major contracts and collaboration with the SmartBear Boston team.  We will make some major announcements soon about what is cooking there 🙂

ASP.NET MVC 4 and the Azure Cloud are becoming a cornerstone of our business and more customers are signing up with Falafel to build their infrastructure using these strong and elegant solutions.

EventBoard, our Mobile conference solution, had a tremendous growth in 2012 under the leadership of Mike Dugan and 2013 looks even better with strong demand and sales worldwide.  In two weeks, 4000 Microsoft MVPs will assemble in Redmond, WA for the annual MVP summit where Microsoft has chosen EventBoard to be the official Mobile conference app for the summit on iOS, Android, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.

Over 150 companies worldwide are currently using EventBoard for their Mobile conference needs.

For the last two months, Falafel has been involved with multiple sizable accounts involving Icenium for building iOS and Android mobile apps using HTML5 and JavaScript with Kendo UI and Kendo UI Mobile.  It is a great product and our first apps in Icenium will hit the AppStore and Google Play shortly.  Stay tuned!

After our visit to the Xamarin executive team in Boston late last year, we have added Mono for iOS and Mono for Android to our portfolio and we are currently developing using this platform for customers here in the US.  We will be releasing several mono based apps to the AppStore and Google play shortly.

So mobile is alive and well and 2013 looks to be in extremely good shape business wise under the leadership of Lance Bullock at Falafel.

Falafel conducted 6 training assignments in the month of January, the most ever, for Sitefinity, TestComplete, MVC 4, KendoUI and RadControls for ASP.NET.  The demand for training has been tremendous to start this year and we look forward to continuing our offering of great training and services to all of our customers worldwide.

In June, we will be hosting the FIRST Falafel Conference in the bay area “FalafelCON 2013” at the Microsoft campus in Mountain View, CA.  A great line up of Speakers will honor us with their presence like Scott Hanselman, Michelle Bustamante, Tim Huckaby, Steve Smith and many others top notch speakers…

This is going to be one heck of a year, I can’t believe that on May 15th 2013, Falafel Software will celebrate it’s 10th anniversary.  I am so blessed and extremely grateful to work with the best team in the industry here at Falafel.

Looking forward to seeing many of you in the Bay Area on June 10th and 11th for the first FalafelCON 2013

Go Niners!
